    Cenotaphs of Kunwar Chain Singh

Kunwar Chain Singh's Chhatri is a historical place in Sehore district. Kunwar Chain Singh was the prince of the princely state of Narsinghgarh.
He used to rule in the princely state of Narsinghgarh. 

 He fought against the British and was martyred. Kunwar Chain Singh fought an armed battle with the British in 1924. This battle is a battle before the Indian War of Independence in 1857. Not many people know about this fight.

But this battle is the first battle fought against the British. In which Kunwar Chain Singh and his companions were defeated and martyred. 

 

A mausoleum has been built here in his memory. All there people who come here. He visits the tomb. Here one can see the beautiful chhatri and one can see the tomb. The chhatri of Kunwar Chain Singh is built inside the village. 

From the year 2015, the Government of Madhya Pradesh has started the Guard of Honor at the Chhatri of Kunwar Chain Singh in Sehore.you can visit this historical place with your family and friends and can know more about our history and freedom fighters.
